Climb for Heroes is a climb up Mt Baldy to benefit The Heroes Project. This hike has multiple summits and hike distances making it fun for all fitness levels. Come learn more at our kick off workout and meeting on Saturday, April 14 at Basecamp Cafe.
This mostly-moms fitness group meets on Saturday mornings in and around Griffith Park. We are primarily a running/walking/hiking group but we also incorporate strength work, cardio, and monthly yoga sessions. Our group combines a healthy balance of butt-kickin' fitness and friendship. After a great workout, we have social time at the end of each practice - with coffee and snacks brought by the moms in the group and quarterly moms-night-out gatherings. We also reach out to our community through volunteerism and philanthropy. We believe we are better at motherhood when we set aside time for ourselves to develop friendships and focus on our personal goals and health.
MEETING DATES/TIMES: Saturdays from 7:30am to 9:30am
LOCATION: Griffith Park, Los Angeles. We meet throughout the park to explore trails, roads, and points of interest. You'll be surprised how much there is to discover!
FEE: Fee is $125 per season (3 months)
Payments are due on the first Saturday of each season. In 2018 those dates will be:
VIRTUAL MEMBERS - Can't come to Saturday workouts or just want to drop in? Pay $25.00 annually and you'll be added to our communications app - Team Snap - to receive updates about weekly workouts, social events, and volunteerism. Drop in fee is $20 per session but you must be a virtual member and have a waiver on file.
