We Fit Moms San Fernando Valley is a fitness team that meets on Saturday mornings. Since 2011, we've been running, hiking, training for triathlons, and helping our community through charity and volunteering.  Come see what makes our team so special by registering for a free workout below! 

WHEN: 

Saturday Mornings 7:30am to 9:30am

SEASON KICKOFF:

Saturday, July 12 from 7:30-9:30 at Old Agoura Park
WHERE:  Old Agoura Park, 5301 Chesebro Road, Agoura Hills, CA 91301 (Meet in the parking lot by the playground off Colodny)

WHAT: We'll do a short run/walk in the trails, followed by strength and core, a discussion of the season, and snacks!

BRING:  Running shoes/clothes, hat/sunglasses, water, nutrition, and a towel
or yoga mat for strength and core work

WHAT: 

Summer will be a cross-training season, where we’ll offer a variety of activities including swimming, biking, running, hiking, kayaking, paddleboarding, yoga, strength and more!  We hope you’ll enjoy some of your favorites and try some new things too.  We’ll also train for the Sharsheret West Coast Dash on September 14 th .

Swim workouts will be held at CLU in Thousand Oaks.  We’ll have lanes reserved specifically for our group with Coach Steve leading separate workouts for beginner, intermediate and advanced swimmers.  For those who aren’t as comfortable in the water, we’ll also have a run/walk option on swim
days.

Bike Workouts will be on mostly flat courses on enclosed bike paths or bike lanes and usually take place on the Westlake lake loop or Balboa Park in Encino. These days will also offer run/hike options around Westlake or Balboa. If you don’t have a bike, now is the time to try to borrow one (any kind of bike is fine) and see about scheduling a tune-up at a local bike shop.  Or you can just opt to run/hike on these days.

Run/Hikes - To beat the heat, we’ll try to find shady trails when we can and will also schedule a beach run/walk.  If it’s really hot, we may also shorten the length of our runs/hikes and do more strength and core work in the shade.
The season will also feature options for yoga, kayaking, paddleboarding, a beach workout, full moon hike and more!

WHO:

Our team is for women of all fitness levels. 
Sorry, workouts are not appropriate for children or strollers.

WHERE:

Swim workouts will be held at CLU in Thousand Oaks. Bike workouts will be at either Westlake and Balboa.  And run/hike workouts will be on different trails from all over the San Fernando and Conejo Valleys. 

​We meet in different locations to access a variety of trails. When you register for your free workout you'll receive an email with our next meeting location.

FEES:

Full Season (12 weeks) is $200
Save $10 if fees are paid before July 12 th .
 
SEASON FEE INCLUDES:
  • Weekly coached run, hike, swim, and bike workouts
  • All pool fees 
  • Community outreach/philanthropic events
  • Access to coach for custom programs and questions
  • Race and local business discounts

ABOUT COACH KAREN:

Karen coaches our San Fernando Valley Team. She joined We Fit Moms in early 2011 to assist with training and organizing the team and then founded the Encino Team in 2012. Karen started running in 7th grade when she didn't make the cheerleading squad or volleyball team and discovered that cross country was the only sport that didn't have tryouts. She has run competitively for over 20 years.  She’s has completed 2 half ironman races, and run in numerous marathons including Boston in 2002 (3:41), half-marathons, and triathlons. She was a Pace Leader for the Chicago Marathon and has worked in Marketing and PR for the Chicago Marathon, Los Angeles Marathon, Students Run LA. She is currently the assistant coach for her son's cross country team and teaches PE at Oak Hills Elementary - passing on her love of running and being active to the next generation. ​
