We Fit Moms meets on Saturday mornings in the San Fernando and Conejo Valley for workouts that include running, hiking, and triathlon training. Since 2011, we’ve stayed active, challenged ourselves, and shown up for our community through charity and volunteer work. Curious? Register below to try a free workout.

SEASON KICKOFF:

WHEN:  Saturday, January 10th, 7:30-9:30

WHERE: Fleet Feet Agoura Hills.  30125 Agoura Rd, Agoura Hills, CA 91301

WHAT: Fun Run/Walk and Info Session. Join us for a short workout followed by a discussion of the upcoming season where we'll train for the Nature Made Great Race. ASICS will be on hand with shoe demos, and we'll have plenty of snacks and giveaways. Come join us to meet our team!

FIRST TRAIL WORKOUT:

WHEN: Saturday January 24th, 7:30-9:30am
WHERE:  Old Agoura Park, 5301 Chesebro Road, Agoura Hills, CA 91301 (Meet in the parking lot by the playground off Colodny)

WHAT: We'll do a short run/walk in the trails, followed by strength and core,  and snacks!

BRING:  Running shoes/clothes, hat/sunglasses, water, nutrition, and a towel
or yoga mat for strength and core work

WHAT: 

We meet each week at 7:30am and after a quick warm up, we head out onto the trail or road with the hike and run leaders. This season we will train for Nature Made Great Race on April 11th.

HIKE COURSES are usually 3-5 miles and include some elevation (we build mileage through the season). Trail or hike shoes are recommended. Carry water with you. Some courses are on fire road but occasionally we go into more technical trails. Hiking poles are optional. 

RUN COURSES are either on road or trail. Good quality run or trail shoes and a water bottle are recommended. We will build mileage each week to get the team ready for the Nature Made Great Race.

POST WORKOUT we will have a strength and/or stretch session, snacks and
announcements

WHO:

Our team is for women of all fitness levels. 
Sorry, workouts are not appropriate for children or strollers.

WHERE:

We typically hike or run the trails, roads, and open spaces of Calabasas, Woodland Hills, Encino, and Agoura Hills. ​We meet in different locations to access a variety of trails. When you register for your free workout you'll receive an email with our next meeting location.

FEES:

Full Season is $220 (13 weeks)
Early Bird Rate: Save $20 if season fees are paid on the kickoff day (January 10th)
​Two For One: Bring a friend and you can both join for the price of one season membership (only applicable if at least one person is new to the team, and does not apply for annual membership. Early bird and other discounts do not apply).

ABOUT COACH KAREN:

Karen coaches our Valley Team. She joined We Fit Moms in early 2011 to assist with training and organizing the team and then founded the Valley Team in 2012. Karen started running in 7th grade when she didn't make the cheerleading squad or volleyball team and discovered that cross country was the only sport that didn't have tryouts. She has run competitively for over 20 years.  She’s has completed 2 Half Ironman races, and run in numerous marathons including Boston, New York, LA, and too many half-marathons, and triathlons to count. She was a Pace Leader for the Chicago Marathon and has worked in Marketing and PR for the Chicago Marathon, Los Angeles Marathon, Students Run LA. She is currently the assistant coach for her son's cross country team and teaches PE at Oak Hills Elementary - passing on her love of running and being active to the next generation. ​
