We Fit Moms San Fernando Valley is a fitness team that meets on Saturday mornings. Since 2011, we've been running, hiking, training for triathlons, and helping our community through charity and volunteering. Come see what makes our team so special by registering for a free workout below!
Saturday Mornings 7:30am to 9:30am
The Spring Season* is April 10 to June 26 - but join us any time!!
*we divide our year into four seasons that last 3 months each
We hike or run the trails, roads, and open spaces of Calabasas, Woodland Hills, Encino, and Agoura Hills. Our most recent adventure was reaching the top of Sandstone Peak, the highest peak in the Santa Monica Mountains.
We meet in different locations to access a variety of trails. When you register for your free workout you'll receive an email with our next meeting location.
Our team is for women of all fitness levels. Sorry, workouts are not appropriate for children or strollers.
We meet at 7:30am and after a quick warm up, we head out onto the trail or road with the hike and run leaders.
HIKE COURSES are usually 3-5 miles and includes some elevation (we build mileage through the season). Trail or hike shoes are recommended. Carry water with you. Some courses are on fire road but occasionally we go into more technical trails. Hiking poles are optional.
RUN COURSES are either on road or trail. There are usually 2 distances to choose from between 3-7 miles (we build mileage through the season). Good quality run or trail shoes and a water bottle are recommended.
POST WORKOUT we will have a strength and/or stretch session and announcements.
SOCIAL DISTANCING / COVID - in order to stay healthy and safe, we break runners and hikers into small sub-groups that follow different courses and may start at staggered times. Masks are required at all times.
Full Season (3 months) is $180 if paid by April 17
* price increases to $200 after April 18
6 Class Passes (must be used by June 26) - $120
Buy One Gift One - Join with a friend and get two full season memberships for the price of one! Must join together for the Spring season (April 10 to June 26) and at least one person must be new to We Fit Moms. Not valid for class passes or annual members.

ABOUT COACH KAREN:
Karen coaches our San Fernando Valley Team. She joined We Fit Moms in early 2011 to assist with training and organizing the team and then founded the Encino Team in 2012. Karen started running in 7th grade when she didn't make the cheerleading squad or volleyball team and discovered that cross country was the only sport that didn't have tryouts. She has run competitively for over 20 years. She’s has completed 2 half ironman races, and run in numerous marathons including Boston in 2002 (3:41), half-marathons, and triathlons. She was a Pace Leader for the Chicago Marathon and has worked in Marketing and PR for the Chicago Marathon, Los Angeles Marathon, Students Run LA. She is currently the assistant coach for her son's cross country team - passing on her love of running to the next generation.
